My Dudes
Starting in 2025, I decided to paint my own subjects (good figurines being thin on the ground, and it being easy to get unpainted 3D prints of fantastical creatures thanks to tabletop gamers). Little did I know what a rabbit hole I was sliding into... an entirely new creative hobby (Image: Dining room transformed)
2025 Dudes
Gold Dragon is not really gold... so many layers... so many damn layers (beginning with red). (I found that is a theme to acrylic painting mins: layers -so many damn layers LOL)
Badger Boi - one of my personal favorites (photos don't do him justice... another theme with mini's unfortunately: What looks great in person doesn't necessarily translate into photos, and visa versa)
Flying Griffin - the star of my favorite image of the year. Led me to next year's theme!
Peg - despite growing up with horses, I didn't realize there were so many different kinds of dun/buckskin. Peg was an education
Beaver Boi (no - I don't know why some of the dudes got tagged as "boi"... but they did an it stuck >.>)
Her Majesty - the first dude I painted (and therefore has a special place in my heart)
